BACKERS - Can I get extra paper for my Pocket on Kickstarter with my reward?
Yes! We can include more paper if you “add on” to your pledge amount. Each additional $45 gets you 100 more sheets of paper!
Here’s how: 1. Click on the ‘Manage My Pledge’ button you see at the top right (when signed in) on the project page. 2. Adjust your pledge and follow the on-screen instructions. DO NOT change your reward level or you may not be able to keep it.

COMPATIBILITY - How does the Pocket adjust to every phone?
Pocket carries a smart adapter system allows you to adjust it to your phone dimension with one simple push of a button and slide open action. You can even keep on your phones protective case if not thicker than 2mm, like most standard cases. See the “How it works” section for visuals.

FEATURES - How does the Augmented Reality feature actually work?
When a photo is taken, our app records a video or boomerang and stores it in a secure and private cloud. After it’s been printed, you can hold your phone over the photo and watch the video play on top of it. At that point, our app is scanning the content, much like a QR code, and then calling the video back from the cloud and playing it on screen.

FEATURES - What is the Augmented Reality feature with Prynt photos?
The Prynt app gives you the ability to add a video behind each printed photo. You can record it on the spot if you’re instantly snapping a photo and printing it. If you print from your gallery, you can pick a video from you gallery and add it. It’s an option for any Prynt! Once you’ve printed your photo, you can hover your phone on the photo with the Prynt “scan” open, and the embedded video will play on your screen. That’s instant photos with Augmented Reality. TECHNICAL - How exactly does the Augmented Reality technology work?
We’re using a strong image recognition technology to detect which physical photos are scanned. Every video attached to a photo is hosted in a dedicated secured private cloud, so when you scan the photo, our technology perfectly matches it with the right video. The video plays exactly inside the physical photo frame or borders, visible on your mobile screen.

TECHNICAL - How exactly does the printing technology work?
The Pocket uses thermal technology and does not require ink, which makes the process really simple for the user, and keeps the device small. There are no ink cartridges, only our photo paper, which has the ink embedded inside of it. When heated to the correct temperature, the image appears on the paper instantaneously.

PAPER - How do I get more paper? How much does it cost?
Each case comes with one pack (10 sheets of paper), but you can also chose to add $45 to your pledge and receive 100-sheets of Paper. You can also purchase paper through our app or on our website. Standard refill packs are $19.99 for 40 sheets of paper. Packs are also available for in 20, 40 and 60 sheet sets.

PAPER - Will the Pocket work with another Paper?
If other paper sources use the same technology and have the same dimensions, then it is possible, but not at all guaranteed. While the paper may be similar, we cannot promise that other brands will work with the Prynt Pocket, and we do not recommend using paper from other sources.

SHIPPING - How much is shipping?
Shipping costs depend on the location of where your pledge will be delivered to. When pledging, you will be able to pick the country of destination. For US, European Union - UK included- shipping costs $10. For any other country shipping cost is $30.

SHIPPING - I’m an international backer, do I have to worry about customs charges?
If your country of destination is outside the United States or the European Union, we do not cover customs and taxes which may apply in your country. We would recommend checking with your customs office to estimate these charges. As a note, all Fedex users may be able to check the customs and taxes using the Global Trade Manager tool.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
